With the Australian dollar firm and the retail economy in tatters following weak Christmas and New Year trading, Easter travel deals abound.

In January, the Sydney Morning Herald reported that it is estimated that Australian travelers will flood the overseas market in 2010, driven by a powerful combination of affordable prices and pent-up demand.
