8 Year Old On Terrorist Watch List

When your name is on the suspect terrorist list, you have to expect much longer delays at airports than normal. This has been the case of Mikey Hicks, since a baby.
Eight year old American boy scout, Mikey Hicks, has had difficulty getting on board aeroplanes, since the age of two. Airline officials always tell his parents, his name is on the ‘list’.
Even as a two year old, Mikey Hicks was given a full body search at Newark Liberty International Airport and from that time, has faced intense scrutiny anytime he tries to fly.
Mikey Hick’s name appears among the 13,500 names on the ‘selectee’ list of the Homeland security Department. Whenever young Mikey appears at an airport, his name sets off the alarm bells among airport staff. Surely it would be enough to make you change your name?
James Fotenos, spokesman for Transportation Security Administration says, “In the coming months the agency will cross-ckeck names with birth dates and gender.”
Yet the 23 year-old Nigerian student, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, was able to board a plane with explosives sewn into his underwear, on Christmas day, in spite of the fact that his own father had reported his son’s ‘out of character behavior’ and that he was planning something, after receiving training in Yemen.
AbdulMultallab’s name was added to a watch list of 550,000 potential terrorists at the National Counter-Terrorism Centre, but according to CNN, a senior official said “The info on him was not deemed specific enough to pull his visa or put him on a no-fly list.”
As early as 2006 M15 had picked up multiple communications between AbdulMultallab and suspected terrorists in Britain.
Had the attempt on Christmas day been successful, 300 passengers would have been blown to pieces.
AbdulMultallab boasted that as many as 20 other men have been trained in Yemen by Al-Qaeda, over the past 18 months, to perpetrate similar incidents against the West.
